The host hotel for the 2011 North American Conference is the Walt Disney World Swan Resort. The Resort is part of the beautiful Walt Disney World® Resort complex located in Central Florida.

AIR TRAVEL

Flight arrangements should be made into Orlando International Airport (MCO). The airport code is MCO (McCoy).

Please note: It is highly recommended that you arrive at the Orlando airport least 1 and 1/2 hours before your departure time in order to pass through the lengthy security lines.

 

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION

The Walt Disney World Swan Resort does NOT offer an airport shuttle. You can make airport transportation arrangements with one of the following services:

Mears offers a roundtrip shuttle service to and from the Walt Disney World Swan Resort.

The prices are:

Ages 4 – 11 $26 Roundtrip

Ages 12 – and up $33 Roundtrip

The Mears counter is located one level below the baggage claim level next to the rental car counters.

This is a walk up service so reservations are not necessary. The shuttles will make several stops and will arrive to your hotel in an hour or less.

For transportation from the hotel back to the airport, please arrange pick up 3 hours prior to flight departure by calling

Mears also offers private van service for up to 8 people. The private van will take you directly to the hotel with no other stops.

Mears Yellow Cab Service

Yellow cab offers cab service to and from the airport. The cost is approximately $55 each way for a mini van that holds up to 7 people. Please make your reservation prior to arrival.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

The weather conditions in Florida during the month of July are very warm. The average high temperature is around 88 degrees (F). Afternoon showers are prevalent most days, so please be prepared for some rain.

The evenings cool down to a very comfortable low temp of around 73 degrees.
